Gain entry to specialized databases, local genealogical records, and physical archives that aren't available through a standard web search. We open the doors to the library's permanent collections and partner repositories.

Bring any physical documents, old photos, or digital records you've already found. Having the "raw evidence" on hand allows our historians to dive deeper into the context of your research immediately.
Before your session, jot down the specific names, dates, or locations you are curious about. Family history can get complicated quickly, and having a clear list of "knowns" helps us identify the "unknowns."
Don't be afraid to ask the "how" and "why." Our goal isn't just to find an answer for you, but to teach you the research skills and methodology to continue the journey on your own.
If you don’t feel fully prepared, don't worry — we’ll get you there. We’ll help you talk through your ideas and plan out exactly what your story is. This is a personal journey, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.
This is a celebration of your history. Relax, enjoy the trip down memory lane, and remember that there are no "wrong" ways to tell your truth.
