There is no one "right" way to share. Whether you prefer to write a traditional essay, sketch out a map of your childhood neighborhood, or record a spoken memory directly to us, we meet you where you are. You already have the skills to tell your story; we simply help you capture it.

Bring any physical items that trigger your memory or help tell the story — such as old letters, diary entries, or photos — to include with your submission.
Think about which memories are the most meaningful or time-sensitive. Consider making a list of the core moments you want to ensure are captured during your session.
Our process is about getting the whole story out first, then working together to tighten and distill it. We’ll guide you through re-reading and refining your draft to ensure the final narrative is polished and powerful.
If you don’t feel fully prepared, don't worry — we’ll get you there. We’ll help you talk through your ideas and plan out exactly what your story is. This is a personal journey, and we are here to guide you every step of the way.
This is a celebration of your history. Relax, enjoy the trip down memory lane, and remember that there are no "wrong" ways to tell your truth.
